Hi everyone,

I have installed Ubuntu 8.10 on a USB stick which is pretty cool and works just fine until I have to do a hard reset of my computer. In that case, upon rebooting, Ubuntu stops on the fsck check and ask me to do a manual fsck run. Each time a lot of errors are found and I tell fsck to fix them but I end up with file losses and a completely corrupted system.
I have reinstalled Ubuntu several times now because of that matter.
My USB stick is a 8G ADATA that is plugged on a USB port integrated on a Intel DG45FC motherboard.

I'd like to know whether or not I am the only one to experience that and also I'm looking for settings and ideas that would prevent that problem to happen.

Thank you
