This is driving me nuts. For long as I can remember if I either plug in USB Key, SD card (USB Reader), USB Hard Drive... no matter what it would get auto-mounted to /media/[label] and Nautilus would popup a window of drive plugged in.

Now semi-randomly I've noticed its not working anymore. If I plug in items they show up in places. If I click on it nothing happens, if I right click on and it pick 'mount' nothing happens. I don't get any error messages-- nothing happens.

I can manually mount the drives but thats not really helpful, I want Nautilus to do it.

What the heck is even controlling all this stuff?
