Hi all, I wonder if those who have already upgraded to intrepid are missing something really useful in KDE: the kprinter tool!!!

I'm starting to dislike this kde4, with lots of visual gadgets and flushing down the pipe the simple and practical tools...

And what about kcontrol? I don't give a damn for this useless new system settings tool they think can possibly substitute kcontrol...

Dolphin? What a cr*p!!!

Can I change to something like ubuntu + KDE (and I mean full kde) instead of ubuntu's KDE?

Thanks.

If you really can't stand it, there is a thread with instructions on getting KDE 3 back: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=963695

Yep. I've read lots on the subject since my post here. It seems that kde4 is
all that: good-looking and with a big lack of its traditional useful tools.

I'll really try to rollback to version 3.

Thanks for replying.

If you love KDE 3, stay with hardy (8.04).
