Anyone know if installing Ubuntu 8.10 is mostly error-free? I've read the threads about installing Hardy Heron (8.04.1) (http://brunoabinader.blogspot.com/2008/05/atheros-ar5bxb63-on-ubuntu-hardy-heron.html) and it seems to be riddled with errors (from the perspective of a Linux noob like me).

So can I just load the ubuntu iso onto a USB and install as usual? I've already got it running successfully on another laptop, just I want ubuntu on this Acer. Thanks in advance :)
