Kazehakase not storing passwords

I'm switching from Firefox to Kazehakase and I'm not able to store my passwords into the password manager.

I simply log into some web site and nothing happens. Next time I visit the website e-mail and password fields are empty.

If I go to Edit -> Preference... -> Privacy -> Manage Stored Passwords, the list of stored passwords is completely empty.

any hints?

I've been finding that it tends to forget all the passwords and log ins after a week or so.
