View Full Version : [ubuntu] How to resintall Gnome-Menu after Removal

Right. I removed Gnome-Menu after some stuff playing up but now I can't find a way to reinstall it since I haven't got a menu bar nor terminal that I can find any more. I've tried downloading the package but I get the error:

"Dependancy is not satisfiable: python-gmenu".

Please help!:)

ok, your gonna need to delete your .gnome2 folder

rm -R ~/.gnome2

alt+f2 will bring up a command prompt
alternativley you can use a seperate tty, ctrl+alt+F5, then ctrl+alt+F7 to get back to the desktop

What do I do after I delete that folder?
