Dear All,

What is the latest update on Ubuntu 8.10 supporting this graphics card , is there a solution or is it still under development ?

Thanks

apparently it either works really well, or there are massive slowdown issues.

I'm curious because I want to get a Dell XPS One and that comes with GMA 4500

it's a desktop. I really want it, but I keep putting off buying it because I can't find a single person in the world who has run ubuntu on it.

I would suggest checking with Dell, or Intel about the state of the driver.
