Are you able to boot Ubuntu completely? If you are, can you post your /boot/grub/menu.lst.

Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal

cat /boot/grub/menu.lst
Otherwise, you have to boot your machine from the LiveCD. Then, mount the partition where / (or /boot if you have a separate /boot partition) is and post your /boot/grub/menu.lst from your harddrive.

sudo fdisk -l

Ubuntu will not load from Grub. Grub will load and when I select Ubuntu the error message will appear then it will say hit enter to continue then it takes me back to grub.

Here is the menu.lst i know the bottom part is correct but i just did a quick formating on the top.

c/grub
#
and /usr/share/doc/grub-doc/.

#
# default num

# Set the default entry to the entry number NUM. Numbering starts from 0, and

# the entry number 0 is the default if the command is not used.

#

# You can specify 'saved' instead of a number. In this case, the default entry

# is the entry saved with the command 'savedefault'.

# WARNING: If you are using dmraid do not use 'savedefault' or your

# array will desync and will not let you boot your system.
default 0

#

# timeout sec

# Set a timeout, in SEC seconds, before automatically booting the default entry
# (normally the first entry defined).
timeout 10
