Dead Board??

I think my motherboard just died. Experimenting with a spare machine and hosed it all up. No problem just re-install the OS (Server 8.10). Problem now is it won't load or run. I get an error saying " crc error ---system halted" Sound like a board crapped out???? :confused:

Does it post? Are there any beeps when you try to start it up?

Yes it beeps and eventually gives me the crc erroe ----system halted

Going to try a different CD Rom drive in the morning just in case that is killing it.

It was a bad CD Drive killing the re-install!
