I just installed Ubuntu 8.10 on my Asus desktop which is running XP. After Ubuntu installed, I restarted my system, then upon booting up, the Ubuntu menu comes up loading, but after it is done, I have no video on my screen. I am using a 32" LCD TV as my monitor, which is connected via a DVI -> HDMI cable, not sure if that makes any difference. Can somebody help me get picture out of this? thanks!
