Hi

I have been using feisty quite happily for a while, but have just had my first big linux problem;

I desperately need gparted and suddenly can't seem to access the basic repositories. Update in synaptic/apt-get gives the following output;

http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/feisty/main/binary-i386/Packages.gz: 404 Not Found
http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/feisty/main/source/Sources.gz: 404 Not Found
http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/feisty/universe/binary-i386/Packages.gz: 404 Not Found
http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/feisty/universe/source/Sources.gz: 404 Not Found

Anybody know what's going on. I'm definitely connected to the net as I'm posting here ;-).

Best

The reason could be that feisty has expired so the repos are gone.

What do you mean gparted for, to resize your harddrive? It should be available on the LiveCD or just download the GParted LiveCD then.

Just for info, Feisty was moved to the Old Releases repos:
