Hello,
I have couple Ubuntu 8.04 LTS (Hardy Heron) installations with Samba service and Wine. This means problems for samba and windows filesharing clients as ``winbindd´´ services needs to be killed before a client can connect to the samba service running on ubuntu installation. Removing winbind package means uninstalling Wine - so it's not possible.
Wine and Samba worked well together couple Ubuntu versions ago - what has changed?
