Hi,

I am new to this, i have tried to install 8.10 version yesterday
and it had not worked.

From CD i choose the first option "demo and full install", it
run, then i clicked "install" icon and on step 4 it showed me
TWO options "full drive" and "manual". I had chose manual but
had not went further since was not sure which options to choose
for partions.

In few hours i had tried to install it again and, surprisingly,
on step 4 it gave THREE options "full drive with free space",
"full drive" and "manual". Again I had chose manual but
had not gone further: i was not sure where to set up swap.
Should it be separate partions set up earlier or free space.

When i run the third time, the dual-boot disappeared and
am able to to run install. How to run this install again i am
not sure?

Then I have tried to install it inside Windows (second option
on umenu). The files were copied to disk but the only exe-file
i have is "uninstall_ubuntu.exu". When i run wubi, it says
ubuntu is already installed, but how to run it i don't know.

Any advice, guys.

You should have an option to boot either Ubuntu or Windows on startup.

This dual-boot had dissapeared after my attempt to
install full version. Is there anyway to restore dual-boot
or check at startup why it does not load?
