This is really only a minor annoyance, but perhaps someone could help...
I recently tested KDE on my laptop, which works fine with Gnome, and pretty well with KDE after disabling effects which blacked out the screen.. The problem is that the cursor turns into a floating box with what looks to be small images of the xcreen. It moves just the way a mouse is supposed to, yet I cannot see the pointer.
