Hi. I just installed 8.10 on a removable HD. I partitioned the disk with the ubuntu install partitioner. Ubuntu runs fine off of the HD but I cant read the NTFS part of the disk on windows. How can I mount that partition in windows?

Sorry. Misunderstood. You need to install this driver in Windows:

Can you mount the NTFS partition in Ubuntu?
In Windows go to Control Panel-->Administration Tools-->Computer Management-->Disk Management to see if it shows up there.

Hey thanks guys. I just realized that I accidentally used the whole disk for ubuntu so all my NTFS stuff is gone. My bad, but that Ext2 IFS is a great program so thanks for that.
