Hey, I was just wondering what the difference is between 'Add/Remove...' and 'Synaptic Package Manager'? It looks like Add/Remove... is just a striped down version of Synaptic.
thanks

Add or remove gives us a facility to add the package without the options.
But with synaptic we have the other related packages are also listed.

Add/remove also seemes to be graphical-application orianted. I run a lot of command-line tools that I rarely find in add/remove. Synaptic is MUCH more configurable than add/remove.
