G'Day from Australia
I'm new to linux but have been playing with computers before desktop units were even invented. I decided to get back to basics and several IT geeks I call friends convinced me LINUX was the way, the means and the answer to the universal question. I was then informed by others that Ubuntu wsa the freeway to get there.
Anyway I'm not sure where to post this , but no doubt I'll get told. I am endeavouring to find out if anyone has successfully run Uniguard 9.01 guard visitation software which is commercial, under Wine or similiar. My initial efforts resulted in a reformat of my Harddrive. I am running 5.10 on a i386 platform. I realise this is rather specific software but my life runs on faith. It's easier to come by than cash.
