There are some great free "how to Linux" videos out there on You Tube and elsewhere, my question is .... Is there a FREE FLV to DVD converter that can work for both Linux and Windows XP?

Also Could the converter burn it to a DVD or make it into a ISO, so I could be burned with Nero or some other program?

My thought is, that if one wanted to introduce someone to Linux, giving them some how to videos on a DVD (all one disc) would be a great idea along with a Linux distro.

Is this post is not appropriate/legal, I apologize...then please delete this thread....

Thanks in advance...

Use FFMPEG to convert the FLV files to Mpeg2 format. After that you use normal dvd authoring software.

Why in Jebus's name would someone want to convert a flv video to dvd?

I mean the quality of flv videos are already extremely bad, when converted it will only be worse.
