I am trying to install Ubuntu using the Live CD ...

Its placing an Error during Partition that Your Hard Disk is
Password Protected.

But i Have not Placed any Password over that...

I am very much Confused ..

It is installed with a software from American Megatrends.com during showing the Motherboard Logo but my mother board Belongs to Intel.

Please help me i am really confused how to install the OS.

Boot your Live CD and post:
sudo lshw

but when i place the command in terminal

sudo lshw

it just show the hardware and major system component description but the problem seems not yet to be solved...


Please Clear it for me

Yes i read the Result of the Command.

But no use it doesn't placed the sufficient information required for me to install the Ubuntu by breaking the Password.

It placed me an information that AMI American Megatrends 2002 is placed as firmware in my system.


Help me to catch the problem what it is?

The AMI info indicates the BIOS supplier. If you're looking for someone here to help you crack your BIOS or Hard Drive password, you're probably wasting your time.

You've been asked to supply some information to help us diagnose your problem. How about doing that -- instead of complaining?
