Does anyone know a good guide to configure WINE? I have some adobe products and Microsoft products I need to work on Linux.

"Configure" it? That won't make it any better, if that's what you want. Wine is good for some things, but it is not capable of running everything.

Whether it will work depends on the product. Some work better than others. There is a database of apps known to work/not work at: http://appdb.winehq.org/

If Wine fails, there is a commercial variant called Crossover that may work better. But even Crossover has its limits.

so wine doesn't need any configuration whatsoever?

Not really. There's a few options you can tweak, but I don't know if they change much.

You also may want to google wine-doors and winetricks for extra compatibility with software you want to install.
