View Full Version : [ubuntu] Problem in starting ubuntu

Hi all

i am a new member here in the forums and i want some help :)

i just installed windows Xp as i need it for doing some graphics stuff and i installed it on the main partition which contains the boot file of ubuntu , so now i have xp working and ubuntu installed but i can't log into it as i haven't the choice to log to it on the starting up choices , actually there is no choice just logging to Xp.

so i appreciate your efforts to help me to log to my lovely ubuntu :)

Hi and welcome to the forum.

If you are positive you did not overwite the Ubuntu installation, you can use Super Grub Disk (http://www.supergrubdisk.org) to reinstall GRUB.
