I was trying to add the zfs-fuse packages using synaptic and now any time I try to use apt-get or synaptic for any package I get the following error. I have searh the forums and google for anything about "stale NFS file handle" but none of it seems relavant to this situation. The things I have come across seem in relation to stopping and starting the nfs client, but as far as I can see I don't have any nfs clients installed. This is a fresh install only three days old, and I didn't mount any nfs shares.. so pretty confused by the error. I could do a fresh install but pretty curious as to whats going on really?

As I said above in the first post I did the same searches.. but they were'nt quite as informative as I would have hoped....
