what do you think about sub-forums in different languages for non-native English speakers?

Ubuntu's users are very geographically diverse.. I think is necessary :)

IMO it is better to have a centralized forum for all languages than a seperated forum for each language simply because searching is easier. (As long as you can afford all the traffic ;-) )

Hm, at least it wouldn't be bad :D. For Germany there already is one (www.ubuntuusers.de), so this forum could be linked...

Bad idea, this way there may be solutions to problems in languages other ppl don't understand.
The diversity would become too great imho.
Most of us can speak english tho.

True, but currently these solutions wouldn't even be posted here but on completely different forums.

I think is a good idea to attract new users that are not good with english (like me  ) and if someone want can find help also in international area.

But if the solution may be "new", we can translate it in english. :) or in a wiki.
What's most important? Loss any solution or help more people and help the community growing up?

Ahrr, my english is very weak ... but I agree with node. Sometimes I think ubuntuforums are too big O_O And, if I ask in the official forums probably someone know the answer.
mmm what do you think about "helpgroups"?

Example: me, an italian, I don't know how to write an help request, so I go to a guy of italian helpgroups that help me to translate my post and to understand the answer in my thread...

Italian version:
Venexian boy: "ohi, ti me da' 'na man co 'sto coso? No ghe capisso un casso de inglese... Voria saver come se fa a coreger sto problema"
Italian helpgroup member: "ok!"

Translate:
Venice boy: "Excuse me, sir! Can you help me? I don't speak english, and I want to resolve this bug..."
IHM: "Ok!"

I think it''ll be good. The only issues would be determining the best way to implement it.
