Anyone know? It's a windows help html file and I'm clueless as to how to open it in linux. I tried it with firefox, but no go. I talked to a friend of mine and he said that IE might do the trick, which I don't have in Ubuntu. Any solutions?

to open it in firefox you have to get a special awesome addon called CHM reader:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3235

it works wonderfully for me

xchm is a little bland.

The best two apps for chm files would have to be kchmviewer (a KDE app, but there is a no-kde version) and chmsee.

sudo apt-get install chmsee
or
sudo apt-get install kchmviewer-nokde

If you're ever confused about what to do with an extension consider going to filext.com (http://www.filext.com)
