yesterday i wanted to obtain permission on a folder in /opt called lampp(php and mysql)
therefore i gabe the command as root
chown -R piyush /opt/lampp
i was happy to see that i got the permissions ,Then i gave the command as root so that i can get permission on each and every file on the computer
chown -R piyush /
after that i performed updates of 200mb (updat manager prompted me)
and when i restarted my computer,i was crewed
No internet ,
i cannot access any cd rom,hard drive
Error is access denied when i try to cdrom, hard drive
and when i tried to give command su
password:
setgid: operation not permitted
please help.....
