Sir,

I was using windows XP and ubuntu 8.10 as dual boot. Today my windows suffered from a vital virus (DAMN MICROSOFT). So i had to re-install it. I have ubuntu loaded in a partition and I have not formatted it. I want to restore it back without having to install a fresh copy again. Is it possible to set grub from windows so that ubuntu can be booted? I think it can be, please guide me to do it.

Please help me, I had worked out a lot on my ubuntu and I don't want to loose all my works.
