I'm looking for a good and cheap webcam (under 25$ if possible) which would work correctly and out of the box if possible.
I need it primarily for skype chat, thanks!

P.S.
I know there are a lot of topics about this but every day there are new cams and new experiences with them as well as drivers, so I thought it would be ok to start another thread about this.

I'm looking for the answer to this too.
It's for my mother in law to use with skype ..so I dont want to recommend a difficult to install webcam.(for world peace sake!)
I installed Ubuntu on her computer over thanksgiving
and she loves it so far.
Any suggestions?

For anyone interested:
I bought a "logitech communicator deluxe" webcam and it works out of the box with intrepid ibex 8.10.

To configure the audio with SKype set
"sound in"=usb
"sound out" and "ringing" = "pulse"...
