View Full Version : [ubuntu] Broadcom BCM4311 static ip address trouble

Hi, using the network manager, if I set my ip to static and not DHCP, it gets all weird and stops working. I tried to setup the info manually from my interface file, but the network manager dissapears from the desktop. Any idea as to why? Can anyone help me use an static ip address on a wireless network?

So no help fixing my wireless so it works with a static ip?

I took care of the problem with wicd. Thanks anyway, problem solved!
