I've been trying to find the best way to use s-video out to watch movies from my laptop to my TV, and today I hooked them up together. The screen resolution in settings prompted me to change my resolution in the xorg.conf file, which allowed for using the tv as a second screen. However, once I unplugged it, my laptop will not return to its normal resolution. I've rebooted, logged out etc, but I'm not sure what else to do.
