Resolution size won´t remain default

I have just loaded Kubuntu and its fine, just that the screen resolution that is default is not what I want. I changed it to 1024x768 but it won´t stay as default. I have to alter every time I go in.

That may be a KDE4 bug, stuff is still in turmoil whatwith 4 being a rewrite.
