Hi
I'm new to Linux, but am experinced in IT.

I want to install ubuntu on my PC. I have a spare internal disk with nothing on it and I'd like to put it there. I'm reluctant to partition up my C: drive.

Is the installation straight forward?
When I boot the PC will it give me the option of which OS to boot off, or will I need to go into the BIOS?

Thanks for any help.

I'm inexperience in IT and didn't have any troubles. It should give you the option of which OS to boot. You might have to get into your BIOS, but I really don't know at this point. Kinda depends on how your particular system is set up.
