Sorry if this has been posted before but I've searched and searched and can't find out the solution. Basically the internet worked fine in 8.04 and then I upgraded to 8.10 and now it doesn't work. I'm still new with ubuntu so anyone have any suggestions?

it might be one of the glitches in the network manager. i've got the one where it won't connect to a d-link g604t router. incidentally, how can we get the updates when they come out that fix it without internet?

computer/linux magazines often provide dvds with updates from the repositories. or simply use a different computer and download that needed package.
