Terminal Menu Bar

Since this is purely a cosmetic issue, i think this goes under the "GNOME" tag.

I have a theme currently running that makes gnome terminal look amazing when the menu bar is turned off. I keep going into view and unchecking show menu bar, but its always switched on when i start terminal again. Is there a way to turn the bar off so it stays off??

you have to go into preference and uncheck show menu, view only controls the current session.
