I've messed up my sound so much that I don't know what to do except to start from scratch. I'll need a step-by-step instructions, please.

  1. Remove All Sound from Ubuntu 8.10 System
    1. How do I make sure that my Ubuntu 8.10 has no sound files at all?


  2. How do I install sound for the following programs?
    1. Ubuntu 8.10
    2. Wine 1.1.9
    3. World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King (WOW)
    4. Ventrilo 3.0.4 (Vent)
