    Screen resolution

    Hi all!

    Can anybody help me......I cannot increase my screen resolution...Maximum is 800x600. I have a N1996 MSI motherboard with onboard video card.....sniff.

    What version of Ubuntu are you using?
    If its ibex no wonder, I would use hardy as it has better monitor config tools

    It's likely your monitor that's not being auto-detected. See http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=997482 Post #2 for an easy fix.
