dev_snmp6 question
I use my conky to advise of my network status. It references the /proc/net/dev_snmp6 directory to display the active interface Wireless or Wired). I have a problem though. On a fresh boot, this directory includes an eth0 file even though no connection is active through that input (Cat5). If I connect a Cat5 cable, and then disconnect it, the directory is refreshed and all is well. Is there a way to have this directory "refreshed" at boot time or after a login so that I can avoid the annoyance of having to connect and disconnect my network cable. My ath0 (Wireless) shows up correctly when it is connected/disconnected. Thanks in advance
