    Red face What is it ?

    That's what I see upon every reboot/shutdown.
    During boot up sometimes (not always) second progress bar appears (or part of it).
    I also have Suse-11, Mandriva2009, FreeBSD-7 on the same machine and no such visual effects with them, only in Ubuntu/Kubuntu in both i386 and 86_64.
    Hardware: Asus M3N78-VM, AMD AthlonX2-2.3GHz,DDR2-800-4GB ram, GeForce8200, SyncMaster2253bw -monitor.
    On the other hand there is nothing like this with the same 8.10 on my old machine Asus P4333c, P4-2.4GHz, DDR-266-768MB ram, GeForce3-Ti200, Viewsonic VA912b.
    What could be wrong with my new machine?
