    $XMODIFIERS can't be set

before using scim, I once set "export XMODIFIERS=@im=unikey"
now, each time i do "export XMODIFIERS=@im=scim", it doesn't work, the $XMODIFIERS is automatically set to "@im=unikey" after.

unikey is an software to input in vietnamese, I installed it before but have remove it

I think because of that, I can't use scim :'(.
    I'm using Ubuntu 8.04

Can someone help me to resolve it

    Best regard,
    dage

    how do you install x-unikey?
may be you had add a line like "export XMODIFIERS=..." to ~/.bash_rc or ~/.profile or someone?
    you must remove it!
