    Installing using LiveCD on 155MB of RAM

    How do I do it if its possable?

    Not possible. I recommend a different distro. You can install using the Alternate CD but it will be slow to the point of not being worth it.

    I would look in to Puppy Linux, Damn Small Linux, or other distros that use jwm (joe's window manager).


    On a side note, RAM is dirt cheap these days.

    If I may interject a little here, it's possible. A colleague from work asked me to sort out his computer once. With 128mb of ram and no graphics card, I put Ubuntu Studio (7.10) on it. I had to do a text install, but it worked. I didn't like him very much.

    The Live CD requires 384MB RAM.

    How do you know? Have you tried it with 383mb ram?
