Yux

[Troll_the_Great]

Hello all!

Did somebody hear about a program called Yux? I got it from here:
http://www.advogato.org/proj/Yux/
I didn't manage to install it because I got some errors.
When I type "./configure" I get:

configure: error: cannot find install-sh or install.sh in . ./.. ./../..

I continue with "make" and I get this:

Me too, but I seem to have a problem with Pidgin (see my other thread) and I was searching for a replacement.

I might sound like "Captain Obvious", but did you get the libyahoo2-dev package? I will download the source and see if I get it to work on my computer. Please leave a reply though, and let me know if you have all the necessary libs.

EDIT: I think it might be some sort of typo in the "configure" script.

I get the same error as you do. I will try to edit the configure script, though. There must be some sort of problem in it, as the Yux project was abandoned 3 years ago and no more bugfixes were created since then. Anyway, I will check it out and probably will give you an answer tomorrow. I might think it's a programming error, not related to our systems.
