Flash speed test

Which tests flash speed. As I am always looking for a way to speed things up (by not buying, but tweaking), I am curious how to speed up flash performance.

At this crab test (which I do not know how reliable it is), it get the following score:

141 Crabs (136 quite soon, 141 after running for some time)

Using:
Firefox 3.0.4
Flash 10,0,12,36 (hardware acceleration enabled, high quality)
Compiz enabled (though that does not make a difference for me)
CPU at performance (not ondemand)
AMD x2 3800 - stock
NVIDIA 7600 GT - stock (1280x1024, other resolutions same score)

Anyone with a different score on same hardware? Or anyone with the same score on different hardware? Or anyone with a different score on different hardware?

On windows I get 271 with Intel G31, I dare not even test it under Ubuntu as I am afraid the flaky Intel driver built in would put up a horrid score.

I guess it not depends on your videocard for this as changing resolution does not matter at all, but I am not 100% sure. It would be nice to see the score on Ubuntu though , especially if it is the same setup.

I got a score of 71, ubuntu 8.10 and adobe flash 10, I don't have any problem with flash, works very well in both ubuntu and windows xp in same computer.

I get a score of 76 when I do not switch power management to performance.

What do you get in Windows, I tested with Opera on a quad core, I will test my dual quad core machine which has a better ATI Radeon 4850.

What do you get in Windows, I tested with Opera on a quad core, I will test my dual quad core machine which has a better ATI Radeon 4850.

okay, did the windows xp_internet explorer test and the score was 110 so what does it mean? better performance? I can't notice any deference playing a youtube video in windows or ubuntu!
and different browsers also have something to do with this too, the test with ubuntu and opera only gives a score of 61

First of all, it's just fun, but I am not under the impression it is bringing you a lot.

For the rest the test originally is used to compare browsers, and Firefox is fastest for this test. I added some extra flash tests for you to have a look at.

The tests are about checking flash speed, and for me personally checking if I can tweak my browser and/or system to get a higher score. Just for fun
