    Unhappy New to ubuntu with wireless problems

    I just switched to Ubuntu Ultimate Edition 2.0 from Windows Vista and my wireless is not working. Could you please help me fix that problem.

    Can you go into the Terminal and post the results of lspci -nn? We need some information about the make and model of your wireless card.

    Okay bro...go to this website and follow the instructions.

    Atheros on Ubuntu 8.10 (Ultimate Edition 2.0)

    My problem is that everytime I boot I have to do the same effin thing to get the wireless working. If anyone has a workaround, please share!
    Desktop: Dell Dimension 2400
    Intel Pentium IV / 1GB RAM DDR / 160GBHD / Integrated Graphics / XUBUNTU 10.10 & Still lower than a slug!
