    questions

Hi. I just had some really basic questions, so I'll ask 'em here.

1.) What are the differences of 32 bit and 64 bit computers? How can I check what mine is?

2.) How do you make links to websites but change what the link says?
(like.. write down a website, and then make the hyperlink a different name?) Sorry, I can't explain it too well.
Let's see.. if I wanted to make a link to google.com, but make others view that as "a search engine site", how would I do that?

    Thanks!

Well to answer your first question, generally if you are not sure which you have, you are running a 32 bit machine.

To answer your second question, you type the words, such as:
    Search engine

Then, select the words with your mouse. Next, press the button that looks like a globe with a paper clip below it (this button varies from site to site), and insert your URL.

At this point, your text will be replaced and look a bit "funny." This is normal. When you post, your link will appear with whatever words you originally chose.

    Ex: Search Engine

EDIT: Oh, and for information of the difference between 32 bit and 64 bit, use above link. In short, however, 64 bit offers the advantage of being able to use more memory than a 32 bit system does. There are other advantages and disadvantages you can research as well though.

    Truly, you are the master.
Never before have I seen someone use so many words, and get a "thank you" for telling a poster "google it".

Now I can die a happy man.
