    Suggestion

    Hi guys,

I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 and is working great.
Could you suggest me if it's better to update to 8.10 and why?

    Thanks in advance,

    Ema!

    Re: Suggestion

Well, from my own stand, upgrading to Intrepid allowed me to use the WiFi card on my Compaq F700 laptop (on Hardy it didn't work at all, or worked, but did not allowed me to connect to any Access Point)
ITOH, my crappy desktop has an NVIDIA card (crappy and old as well), that its no longer supported by Ubuntu; nevertheless, I wiped Hardy and I'm going to give it a try on the desktop as well, if the doesn't work, I just install Hardy again

And use lotsa Linux, BSD, and Emacs.

Anyway, any very big/cool new software to be used? 8.04 is supported for 3 years isn't it?

    Cheers,
