    scripting help

hey guys, this probably isnt the place for this thread but i use fluxbox and i have to login and then turn my wireless on then enter the password then it connects, its sorta annoying doing that now...

so im wondering if i can write some script to do it for me?

    is something like this possible?
i have NEVER used any shells before
the only experience i have is in java
which i doubt is relevant here]

can anyone help by saying if its possible or not and some tutorials on what im gonna have to use? eg: bash, dash, sh

    thanks

is there a reason why you don't use a network manager?
