    SSH Brute Force

I have a demo hardware device coming into the office next week. It runs on linux, and it is the first of its kind. I wanted to see if I could gain SSH access and poke around a bit. Anyone know of a good brute force dictionary attacker for SSH?

Why would you need to break into your own system?

    Re: SSH Brute Force

nobody would use ssh if it were that easy to break into. if you have physical access anyway. Why bother taking the long way round if you can just use a screwdriver?

Its not a PC, the only access is through Ethernet.

This kind of activity can obviously be misused and is not supported here

If it your box and you have permission, go for it, but this is not the place.
