I have a rather long How-To (20,5 kb including forum code), to which I added another section yesterday. When I wanted to preview it, I got an error that I was using 9 smilies, while i was only allowed 8. This isn't a problem, as I like the old-school text-only smilies as well, but I find it a little odd that I'm not really allowed to smile more often than 8 times, even in very long posts. I understand fully that posts only consisting of tons of smilies are not wanted, but would it be possible to extend the number of allowed smilies (and maybe images too) as the post length grows?
