Connecting to a server for my school's wifi

I'm a fairly new Ubuntu/Linux user and I'm having a bit of difficulty connecting to my school's (Cleveland State) wireless network. Of course their instructions are only for Windows and OSX. I figured out the equivalent of most the directions in Linux, however I'm having trouble with one spot.

In the Windows XP guide it says (in the PEAP properties):
    13. Click to select the option: Validate server
    certificate.
    14. Click to select the option: Connect to these
servers: and underneath it, type the following in
    the blank field acs-wow.csuohio.edu;acs-
    backup.csuohio.edu (no spaces)

Where/how do I do this in Linux?

I dont know much about this, but if its validating a server certificate, i think it has to be done in windows because thats what the server is looking for

Can you not go and see your network administrators and ask them how to connect linux?
