I'm not sure if I have a hardware problem, or a display driver problem, but periodically when I'm in Linux (and pretty much only in Linux) this happens to my screen, and I have to reboot to fix it (though underneath the dancing lines everything is still responsive--I can Ctrl+alt+F1 into a terminal and sudo reboot with no issues).
Any opinions? Is my nvidia card fried, or is there some little tweak I can make in the display driver to fix everything?
