    Thanks again bapoumba.
    You're welcome.

Reading RSS feeds is great to find duplicates

We used to have a dedicated page, and a one click process, but it got lost with the last forum software upgrade. Maybe it will come back one day

In the mean time, you can use this for individual sub-forums (the forumids is Cafe's, you find it in the url of each sub-forum)
    http://ubuntuforums.org/external.php?forumids=11

    Whole traffic from all sub-forums:

Like I said I know how to do it, but it is hard for new users. It is not the most simple of things find the forumId and change the url in the above to suite your needs while holding down ctrl+alt+f23 then press spacebar while your hands are on top of your head

/me takes this post/topic to the FHF.

Luckily, this was the 2nd topic to come up when I did a search on "RSS". I just joined the forums a few minutes ago (and just started using Ubuntu a few weeks ago).

I'd suggest that the RSS information be added to the Forum Help -> Forum FAQ information. That was the first place I looked.

    Thanks!

Welcome to the forums. Very glad you actually read the FAQ's many don't.

I think the much better place for RSS links would be on the actual pages them selves with a big button you can click on that is relative to your current forum/thread.

Yup. I even disagreed with part of it, about the correlation between Geeks and Coffee. If it had said "geek and caffeine", I would agree entirely. But, in my 22 years of geekdom*, the correlation between geeks and coffee has been rather low. But the correlation between geeks and caffeinated soda is INCREDIBLY high.

Coffee has always been what the 'suits drank Not the geeks. Though, in the last few years, I have seen a bit more coffee drinking among geeks. But, still, the larger association in my brain is "coke/mt.dew/jolt" not "coffee".

(* not bragging, just giving context to my observation)

Oh, I agree. A big red or blue RSS logo button, and/or red RSS textual button, would be ideal. But as it was stated above, that's not available right now. And, IMO, having the info in the FAQ is a good idea whether you have the buttons or not.

Wait till you start pulling all nighters for work/university - Soda just doesn't cut it any more. Coffee pot brewing all night is the only way to go
